This morning we dropped anchor just outside of Deshaies, of the lovely French-controlled island of Guadeloupe. After a five-minute tender ride followed by a five-minute bus ride landed us at the Jardin Botonique botanical gardens. It was just up the hill from the port. Don’t believe me?
