At about 17:45 local Norwegian time we crossed the Arctic Circle. Everyone is buzzing about that and checking various northern lights apps on the chance of seeing them over the coming days. I’ve been learning about K-indexes and and Kp band maps.

Right now our forecast is Kp=3 and we are north of the KP=3 band, but who knows. Cloud cover is kind of important as well.
