After two nights in Flagstaff we headed back south, but stopped after only a few miles at the Flagstaff Extreme Adventure Course. Seems my sister’s kids do zip-lines and such whenever they are on vacation, so there happens to be one just a few miles from where we are staying.
The US Army had similar things they called “Confidence Courses“. However, the Army’s stuff was not 5+ meters in the air. I didn’t zoom in on the first picture so you can see how high they are. Don’t worry, the kids are attached to cables above the obstacles. Images by Stevie.

I tried to remove the wind noises from the below video – seems to have mostly worked.
After all the driving and outdoor adventure we needed a break. So, butterflies anyone?
No sound because it was too loud in Butterfly Wonderland (and I’m too lazy to find matching music). But many butterflies and reptiles were at hand. I had to spend the day doing Uncle stuff, so image by Rachel.

As a final piece of adventure, it was time to get dusty. So, off to Arizona Outdoor Fun we went! We spent a few hours in a 20+ convoy of 2-person and 4-person UTVs. And much dust was found.

It was great that my sister and her family came and visited for a week. The adults fell in love with my outdoor gas fire pit, so my psychic powers forecast an addition to their house in the near future.
