En route to Takoradi, Ghana. Arrive on 27-Apr.

We had three sea days between Namibia and São Tomé and were scheduled to arrive at port by 11:00am. I had a tour of coffee and cocoa plantations set up. However, a few hours out the ship received a mayday from a local ferry.

We spend about five hours down-current of the ferry but did not find anything. Since I have a camera with a good lens, I spent some time scanning the sea. In the end we got permission to continue to our next port in Ghana. Unfortunately, we were going to pick up our next guest speaker in São Tomé, so Silversea will have to figure something out.
